Google News Editors’ Picks Now Contains App Links

After two months of asking Google News Publishers to add their app links in the Google News Publisher Center, the Editor's Picks is now showing App download icons.

As expected, Google News has added app links to the Editor’s Picks section. App links lets users download the native iOS and/or Android app of the publisher featured within the Editor’s Picks section.

Here are some examples, including Bloomberg and Seeking Alpha who have both iOS and Android apps listed. Whereas TIME magazine just shows their iOS app listed.

If you are a Google News publisher, you can add your app links by going to the Google Publisher Center, clicking on the “Mobile Apps” link on the left and adding your app URLs there. Here is a screen shot:
