    Reddit unveils social listening tool and conversation add-ons

    Reddit said its Community Intelligence tools turn 20 years of conversations into actionable insights and ad features to help brands.

    Reddit unveiled two alpha-stage products that blend AI with Reddit’s authentic user base:

    • Reddit Insights (Alpha): A scalable social listening tool that turns Reddit’s vast data into actionable insights. Think real-time campaign planning, product feedback, brand sentiment, and cultural trendspotting.
    • Conversation Summary Add-ons (Alpha): A new ad feature that surfaces real Redditor posts beneath ads, creating built-in social proof and boosting engagement (+19% higher CTR in early tests, per Reddit).

    Why we care. Reddit’s new Community Intelligence tools offer unprecedented access to real, unfiltered consumer conversations at scale. These tools help brands validate creative, monitor sentiment, and surface authentic social proof directly in ads, all powered by AI and rooted in human experiences. It’s a new way to tap into high-intent communities and build deeper trust with audiences who crave authenticity.

    Early results:

    • Ad agency Publicis used Reddit Insights to track brand health, test creative, and identify whitespace for clients like The Hershey Company and Comcast.
    • Silicon Valley-based technology company, Lucid, used Conversation Summary Add-ons to amplify organic buzz around its electric vehicles and reach high-intent communities.
