As many of you know, Microsoft’s Bing went live early this morning and many searchers had a chance to get their feet wet with the new search engines. I have been hearing a mix of reaction on Bing and I thought I share some of those articles and blog posts with commentary on Bing’s debut.
There is a ton of opinion on Bing and predictions on the future of Bing and Microsoft in search. To read more about these opinions and predictions, see Techmeme.
Also, I saw a tweet about a promotion Microsoft will be literally running for Bing. A picture of the truck is on Flickr, which explains:
This is a truck that will be rolling starting soon in the Seattle area (at least) It has live traffic on it powered by the awesome combination of Bing search, maps and traffic.

For those in search I would imagine the quick test would be to type in a common keyword ones site ranks well for in Google. Top results in Bing, it’s a winner. Nowhere on page one, Bing stinks. :)
I agree with you @chiropractic. Check out http://www.search3.com/ as an easy way to compare them. It shows you Yahoo too side-by-side. It’s weired how they’re all so different on some things.
