Bing has added two new search features for the school break season.

(1) The ability to search for free online courses offered by the Khan Academy.

(2) The ability to search for books that you can buy online, pick up at a local library and/or view fully online.

Khan Academy Courses On Bing

Through the Bing knowledge repository, Bing has indexed Khan Academy courses and then mapped the courses relationships with popular subjects. So now when you search for a particular school subject, such as [geometry], Bing will show you “popular online courses” that you can attend online for free.

Book Search Availability On Bing

Bing also added to the knowledge repository if a book you searched for is available in a library near year you, available for free download or display an excerpt from the book, and/or as a free eBook. Mostly older books are available as free e-books, while the rest are available for purchase or download.
