Softpedia reports that Live Search’s Search and Give program is coming to a close on June 1st. In addition, those that have participated in Microsoft’s SearchPerks program are being notified to cash in on their prizes now or lose them forever.

If you visit searchandgive.com, you will see the notice on the home page, which reads:

Beginning June 1st, 2009 the Search and Give program will be decommissioned. We plan on releasing a new program similar to Search and Give in the coming months. You may continue earning money for the charity or school of your choice per the program Terms and Conditions until June 1st, 2009 at 12:00 a.m. PT. After June 1st, the amounts earned will be tallied and final donations will be made thereafter to each cause.

It does appear that Microsoft might be releasing another charity focused Live Search promotion soon after. Who knows, maybe with the rumored launch of Kumo at SMX Advanced?

Microsoft sent Danny an email about him needing to act on his SearchPerks rewards. The email said:

Thanks for being a part of the SearchPerks! promotion that ended on April 15, 2009. Now it’s time to redeem all those SearchPerks!

The email goes on to explain how to sign in and redeem your rewards.

These programs do seem to be coming to a close at the rumored launch of Kumo.
