Google Search Console’s Search Performance reports are now delayed by over 53 hours and counting. It is not uncommon for these reports to be delayed, sometimes they get stuck, but for those trying to run client reports for the end of the month, you may find these delays frustrating.

Google to fix. Google confirmed the issue this morning, saying, “We have been experiencing latency issues with the Search Performance reports.” “We’re working to solve this soon and will update here when the issues are resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience.” Google added

What it looks like. Here is a screenshot I posted showing this report is now delayed by 53-hours:

Why we care. Again, for those trying to run monthly or weekly SEO reporting, you will have to wait until Google fixes this latency issue. Google is aware of the issue and is working on resolving it. So this is not a specific issue with just your site, it is affecting all reports for all properties within Google Search Console.

Postscript. Google is reprocessing the data but the reports won’t be fully caught up for a few days. Google wrote, “The fresh data for this report is currently being reprocessed, and is likely to take at least 2-3 days to fully catch up. We’ll let you know here when it’s fully resolved. Thanks for your patience.”
