Meta unveils generative AI tools for automated video, branding, and creative ads

Meta’s latest AI tools aim to help advertisers create high-performing, on-brand content faster and at scale.

Meta unveiled a suite of new generative AI features designed to boost performance and streamline creative workflows.

Driving the news. Meta is expanding its Advantage+ suite with several AI-powered features:

  • Consistent branding at scale: Advertisers and agencies can now apply logos, brand colors, and fonts automatically across creative assets.
  • AI video generation: A still-in-testing feature that transforms images into animated videos — complete with text overlays and music — designed to make video production faster and more engaging.
  • Video highlights: AI extracts key scenes and phrases from videos to better spotlight product benefits.

Why we care. Meta’s new generative AI tools drastically reduce the time and effort needed to produce high-quality, on-brand creative at scale. Automated video generation, dynamic branding, and interactive features like voice AI and Creative Sticker CTAs help brands create more engaging, personalized content faster.

By the numbers. With early results showing up to a 22% boost in return on ad spend (according to Meta), these tools could offer a competitive edge in increasingly crowded digital ad spaces.

Between the lines. Video content continues to dominate platforms like Instagram and Facebook. Meta’s tools are clearly geared toward making dynamic ad creation more accessible and less resource-intensive for brands.

Upcoming features.

  • Voice AI and quick FAQs are being tested to give ads more interactivity.
  • Creative Sticker CTAs will allow brands to add tappable, customized stickers to Reels and Stories.
  • New placements are coming to Instagram Stories and Facebook Reels in the U.S.
  • Virtual Try-On — showing clothes on different body types — is being tested with a broader audience.

What to watch. Creative Sticker CTA buttons will roll out on Facebook first, with Instagram support coming later this year.
