Yahoo announced that they named Shashi Seth as the new Senior Vice President of the Yahoo Search Products team. Shashi Seth will be managing Yahoo’s Search team and all things related to Yahoo Search. Of course, in the wake of the Microsoft deal – exactly what his role will be if/when that deal closes, is uncertain.
Prior to Yahoo, Shashi Seth was at AOL as Senior Vice President of Global Ad Products. He was at AOL for only 3 months until leaving to join Yahoo. Prior to AOL, he was Chief Revenue Officer at Cooliris and prior to that he was on the Google team as the head of Monetization at YouTube and as a Search Product Lead.
