Yelp has updated its search capabilities with new filters that let users search restaurant listings based on available reservation times, or if a location offers delivery or takeout, along with the specific delivery areas and times it delivers.

Launched as “Yelp Now,” users can search restaurant listings based on a reservation date, time, party size and cuisine. (See the reservation filters in the mobile screen shot on the left, and corresponding search results on the right.)

“Yelp Now” also makes it possible to search restaurants that offer takeout or delivery, using filters that narrow search results based on specific delivery areas and times.

According to the announcement, “Yelp Now” is rolling out in select cities gradually starting today.

The reservation search filters are available on both desktop and iOS versions of Yelp, and include restaurants that use Yelp SeatMe or Yelp Reservations.

The takeout and delivery search filters only work on desktop for now, and include businesses that use Yelp’s Eat24, ChowNow, delivery.com or EatStreet. (Yelp did say its food ordering feature would be coming to mobile soon.)

While the new “Yelp Now” search filters apply to its restaurant listings only, Yelp says users will soon have similar search features across other verticals – such as spas, hotels, plumbers and dentist.
