Vanessa Fox, our very own contributing editor, former Googler who helped build Google Webmaster Central, has designed her own search analytics application named BluePrint.
The tool takes your search data and web analytics and combines the data in a useful and actionable manner for SEOs. The core three components of the software application include:
- Query analytics make sense of the thousands of keywords that bring traffic to a site and can zero in on the reasons behind traffic drops
- Search engine analytics show you how search engines see your site by analyzing server logs and alerting you to issues before they cause traffic problems
- Technical diagnostics score your site against a technical checklist and provide prioritized recommendations for your developers.
“Blueprint gives any organization with an online presence the ability to quickly and easily see what’s working, what’s not, and what to fix first,” said Vanessa Fox, who founded Nine By Blue five years ago to help organizations understand how to better engage their audiences through search engines. “Historically, search engine data has been shared piecemeal, leaving marketers and technologists to draw their own conclusions from the various parts. You can become paralyzed by data overload or spend valuable time and resources on what catches your attention, even if it’s not what’s important. Blueprint brings the data together for a sum greater than those parts, along with an action plan that the entire organization can understand and get behind.”
The product launches this month but you can take a tour over here.
