Internet and search marketer Ron Jones has passed away after a battle with melanoma over the past several months.

Jones was the founder and owner of Symetri Corporation, where a notice of his death has now been posted.

SEMPO, the search marketing group that Jones was a board member with from 2008 through 2010, including a term as vice president, also sent out a notice today.

His family has asked for gifts, donations and memorials be made by check to:
