To spot popular search trends, you can always use our list of search research resources. But want to look across a range of various “What’s Hot” reports? Try SEOmoz’s new Popular Searches tool.

As SEOmoz’s Rand Fishkin explains, explains the new tool aggregates data from several places that document “rising trends and consistently buzz-worthy terms and phrases online.”

The tools includes Technorati, Flickr, Del.icio.us, Yahoo Buzz, Google Hot Trends, eBay Pulse, AOL Hot Searches, Lycos Top 50, Ask.com IQ, Amazon Popular Tags, Amazon Bestsellers, and Amazon Movers & Shakers.

The tool shows a “top 10 from all sources” and then lists out the details from each source. In addition, you can check back historically to see what was popular in the past.
