Thanks for the write-up! I just wanted to add that since Topsy Social Analytics is powered by Topsy.com’s search engine, the largest public index of content posted on Twitter, you can actually analyze much more than domains, usernames and keywords. You can enter any advanced search query.

E.g. you can compare \site:cnn.com egypt OR site:cnn.com mubarak\ with \site:reuters.com egypt OR site:reuters.com mubarak\ and \site:aljazeera.net egypt OR site:jazeera.net mubarak\ to see which news site’s coverage is getting the most traction in the social web. Here’s the url for that (rather complex) query: http://analytics.topsy.com/?q=site:cnn.com egypt OR site:cnn.com mubarak,site:reuters.com egypt OR site:reuters.com mubarak,site:aljazeera.net egypt OR site:aljazeera.net mubarak&period=1 week

    Best,
    Rishab @ Topsy

sorry the formatting got all messed up after posting! but you probably get the idea – try entering advanced or multi-keyword queries on http://analytics.topsy.com :-)
