Where You’ll Find Google Structured Snippets: From Superheroes To Product Specifications
The other day, Google officially announced structured snippets, basically Knowledge Graph snippets directly embedded in the search results snippets. But what type of queries trigger the structured snippets from showing up in the search results?
Based on some early testing, the range goes from superheroes to product specifics and popular events to company profiles searches. Below are a list of queries I was able to trigger the structured snippets in the Google search results. I should note, in no case yet was I able to trigger more than one structured snippet from showing up on a single page of search results.
Keep in mind, as the reach of these structured snippets grow in Google’s search results, webmasters and publishers are not going to be happy. These leaves less of a reason and desire by the searcher to click from Google’s search results page to the publisher’s page, if Google is showing them the answer immediately. You can read more about that concern over here
