Google Maps App Lets Users Add A New Business To The Map

Google integrates Google Map Maker directly into the Google Maps iOS App. This allows any user to quickly add a missing business to Google Maps.

A new version of the iOS Google Maps app was just released, and one of the two new features documented is the ability for the user to “easily add new and missing businesses from the sidebar.”

Indeed, a user who is logged into the app can easily add a new business from the sidebar. Just click the menu at the top left of the Google Maps app, and you will see a link toward the bottom of the menu to “Add a missing business.”

Clicking on that will give you a form to complete to submit the business to Google for review and submission to Google Map Maker. Here is that form:
