Google’s Search Analytics Report Now Live For More Webmaster Tools Users
Is Google's Search Queries report missing in Google Webmaster Tools? You may be part of a test where you are seeing the new Search Analytics report.
A few months ago, Google launched an alpha beta report named the Search Impact report within Google Webmaster Tools. Since then, Google renamed it from Search Impact to Search Analytics and has been making upgrades and tweaks to it since. Google ultimately replaced the Search Queries report with the Search Analytics report for those users who have been beta testing it.
Google invited a couple waves of webmasters to test and play with the new report, in exchange for feedback and bug testing. Now, Google’s Zineb Ait Bahajji announced today on Google+ that they are now randomly upgrading Webmaster Tools accounts to see and use the new Search Analytics report.
If you login to your Google Webmaster Tools and see that Search Queries was removed and replaced by Search Analytics, you are part of that group.
Zineb Ait Bahajji said:
We’ve made the new Search Analytics report available to a random sample of our users .
Some of you might notice that they now have access to it in their Google Webmaster Tools account, under Search Traffic in the left navigational menu. If you’re among the new testers, I hope you’ll enjoy using the report. Let us know what you think in the comments.
She also noted that the data is a bit slow to catch up but it will, she said “the new report currently has less than 90 days of data, but it will catch up in the next few days.”
