Bing announced today a new “Pin to Pinterest” feature that allows users to pin Bing image search results directly to a Pinterest board.

According to the Bing Search Blog, the company assembled a group of lifestyle and design bloggers last fall to evaluate their search and social media habits. Based on the results of the evaluation, Bing created the “Pin to Pinterest” feature to help the lifestyle and design community overcome common challenges when searching for original, high resolution images.

Users can pin images directly from a Bing image search to a specified Pinterest board without having to install a bookmarklet. The images are automatically linked to the original source with the proper attribution included.
