The Google Mobile Blog announced that now if you search using Android, iPhone or Palm WebOS you will see the search options at the top right corner. Search Options officially expanded twice since then. Danny did a large write up explaining the features named Up Close With Google Search Options.

As I said, this is now available in mobile devices, such as the iPhone. Here are pictures of me using it for searching on my name:
