Google Analytics showing zero traffic on September 1st
This seems like a widespread bug impacting a lot of GA4 accounts.
Google Analytics has a widespread bug where it is not showing any data for Tuesday, September 1, 2026. Google has not confirmed the issue yet but there are countless complaints and concerns about the missing data in Google Analytics.
What it looks like. Here are some charts showing that there is no data being shown for September 1st:

What is happening. It is unclear what the issue is but the good news is that this seems like a bug on Google’s end. Your site did not drop to getting zero traffic yesterday.
Dana DiTomaso, a Google Analytics expert, posted on LinkedIn yesterday saying:
“It looks like Google Analytics is having an issue with processing yesterday’s (August 31st) data. I’m seeing this pattern across multiple client accounts, so if you see this don’t panic (I panicked) and hopefully it is resolved soon!”
Why we care. It does not look like Google addressed the issue yet but I suspect Google will soon. Google has not yet updated the status of Google Analytics over here.
Again, this seems to be a Google bug and your website likely got some visitors yesterday.
