Thursday, YouTube announced a version of product listing ads are coming to retailers’ video ads with TrueView for Shopping.

Google Shopping’s technology and infrastructure have been booted up on YouTube, and the ads are powered by an integration with Google Merchant Center. The ads are delivered in cards alongside retailers’ video ads on mobile and desktop. Clicks on the product ads take users straight to the merchants’ websites.

The new feature will be available in AdWords in the coming months, though advertisers with a Google rep can start running TrueView for Shopping campaigns today. To learn more about how TrueView for Shopping ads work, see our full coverage, Retailers, Google Shopping Ads Are Coming To YouTube, on Marketing Land where we cover YouTube.
