The Search Engine Land Awards - #TheLandys
Earlier this month, Search Engine Land hosted its first ever Landy Awards Event to honor top SEO and search marketing efforts across the industry.

Of the 12 award categories honoring top SEM and SEO campaigns and marketers, Go Fish Digital took home the Landy Award for Best Overall SEO Initiative for a Small Business for its work with Washington DC’s Reston Limousine.

The Virginia-based digital marketing agency was tasked with two specific objectives: 1) increasing the Reston Limo’s organic traffic and leads; and 2) improving search rankings for industry keywords.

To meet the defined goals, Go Fish Digital performed a comprehensive site audit, focusing on domain access, https protocols, internal redirects and broken links and page load times. They conducted extensive keyword research and competitor analysis, along with a qualitative and quantitative review of Reston Limo’s online content.

Go Fish Digital’s strategy paid off. In the end, Reston Limo had garnered top-five rankings in the DC area for highly competitive search terms, including “limo,” “DC limo,” “limo rental” and “DC limo service.” The limo service’s organic and total site traffic increased by more than 60 percent year over year, and lead conversions jumped by 85 percent.

“Our team’s work shows that an effective digital marketing approach incorporates a combination of technical analysis, creative storytelling and captivating design,” says Go Fish Digital’s founder Brian Patterson.

Search Engine Land couldn’t agree more. Congratulations, Go Fish Digital, on your Landy Award, and thank you for being part of our big night!
