Last week’s inaugural SMX Sweden was a great success—excellent speakers and great buzz made for a worthwhile couple of days (don’t just take my word for it—check out a Cracking start for SMX Stockholm, SMX Stockholm, having a blast!, and this great collection of photos from the event).

If you missed the show, never fear—our first SMX London event is coming up next week. This show features different content and speakers, but I’m expecting it to be just as engaging as the Stockholm event (and of course, you’ll also be able to enjoy our signature superb food).

I’ll be kicking the show off with a keynote conversation with Mario Queiroz, Google’s Vice President, Products, EMEA. Mario is responsible for overseeing all product launches and integration in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. I’m quite excited about talking with Mario about how Google tailors its products and services to each market, localizing not only for language but cultural differences as well. I’m expecting lots of terrific insights for search marketers during this conversation, coming directly from a key person working behind the scenes to make Google successful outside of the U.S.

We’ve got a ton of great content lined up for the show, and an impressive roster of speakers from all of the major search engines as well as some of the best-known and most influential search marketers in the world. There will be plenty of opportunities for networking, including the SEMPO Bar: Networking Cocktail Reception and the SMX Search Bash.

Danny and I are looking forward to seeing you there!
