We started using Raven as a test 6 months ago, and after a week or so, we ditched our in-house link building tools in favor of Raven. I’m in Raven for the most part of my working days, so this means I do come across some bugs every now and again. The great thing is that their tech support is very fast to reply and they’ll actually fix the issues you report.

Well worth the money if linkbuilding is a large part of your core business.

    Hey Debra,

Thanks again for the great review. Our customer service team has been working hard to follow up on a few of the questions you had in the article and so I thought I’d post them here for everyone to see:

    Issue with Site Finder #1:
“I can’t figure out how to see the results from the Backlinks column”: We fleshed this out more in the documentation and added an image. To see backlinks, you click the domain and the backlinks are links separated out according to the connections.

    Issue with Site Finder #2:
“Raven needs to update its Help page behind the Site Finder”: We have updated the screen shot that you had mentioned was incorrect.

    Backlink Explorer issue:
“Unfortunately, results shown are not hyperlinked so you can’t click to review a result”: In the column next to the “Source URL” that lists all of the backlinks that were found you’ll see a little link icon with a green arrow that you can click to view the result. If you don’t see that option, just head up to your Display Options in the Backlink Explorer and turn it on.

Thanks again and if anyone has any other followup questions please don’t hesitate to reach out to us!
