Google Action Cards For Android & Search Integration

Google search now better communicates with your Android phone for taking notes, setting alarms, finding your phone and getting directions.

Google announced on Google+ that you can now connect your Google searches to your Android device in the way of action cards. For example, you can search on Google.com for [send directions] and enter the directions you want, then it will give you the option to send it to your phone. Here is an animated GIF from Google on how it conceptually works:

This is very similar to the find my phone Google search query that Google announced last week.

Alex Chitu found additional action cards that integrate with your Android phone. They include [note to self] and [set an alarm in addition to the ones mentioned above:

To make this work, you need to link your Phone to Google search.
