Google’s Senior VP Of Knowledge, Alan Eustace, To Retire
Google loses another senior vice president and world record holder, Alan Eustace.
Google’s Alan Eustace, the Senior Vice President of Knowledge, is leaving the company. Google has confirmed with us he is leaving Google.
TechCrunch first reported the news, saying Alan is simply retiring and not going on to another company.
He joined Google in 2002 as the Senior Vice President of Engineering and then moved into the roll of Knowledge when Google began working on their Knowledge Graph search efforts. Previously, Alan worked at Digital, Compaq and HP’s Western Research Laboratory, as well as a start up before joining Google.
He is currently about 58 years old and last year broke the world record for the highest-altitude free fall jump and continues to hold that record today.
It is unclear who will replace Alan Eustace at Google.
