Google App Updates Will Include New Animations & Ability To Change Google Logo Colors
9to5Google.com reports users will be able to change the color of Google logo using a "finger painting-like" feature.
According to a report on 9to5Google.com, a new update to the Google App will include new animations within Now on Tap, as well as make it possible for users to change the color of the Google logo displayed above the stream of Google Now cards.
With a “finger painting-like” feature, users will be able to change the standard colors of Google’s logo to lighter colors and shades. 9to5Google.com says this feature will apply to all devices with the 5.10 version of the Google app, but that it may be slow to load.
[blockquote cite = “9to5Google.com”]Users will notice an enlarged Google logo that occupies the fill width of their device. At first it is shown in its normal colors, but it will slowly fade into white. Whatever part of the logo a user taps will be filled with a splotch of color. Every touch changes the color and by the end users will have a uniquely colored Google logo.[/blockquote]
9to5Google.com says Now on Tap is also getting new animations, with its spinning blue circle — the animation used as the search progress indicator — being replaced by new icons, including a magnifying glass, eating utensils, a musical tune and other search-related images.
Published yesterday, 9to5Google.com says the updates would be rolling out soon.
