Google Logo For Legendary Chef Julia Child 100th Birthday

The late Julia Child, an American icon, has her 100th birthday today after passing at the age of 91 on August 13, 2004 in Santa Barbara. She is most well known for her television cooking shows and instructions, but also for her many cook books and popularizing French cuisine in America.

There is a worldwide Google Doodle to remember the contributions of Julia Child. In India the Doodle is replaced with an India independence day logo for that country.

Julia Child was born on August 15, 1912 in Pasadena, California. She was married September 1, 1946 to Paul Cushing Child, who passed away in 1994.

Here more well known TV shows and movies include Julie & Julia, The French Chef, We’re Back! A Dinosaur’s Story, Julia Child: America’s Favorite Chef, and Julia and Jacques Cooking at Home.

Suggest the “news editor” get someone to edit HIS posts.  A little proofreading goes a long way sir.

That explains some of the complaints in the forums.  Good to know.
