“Great Price” Messaging Spotted In Google Shopping Ads

Follows on other recent value price messaging tests spotted in PLAs.

Another day, another pricing message test spotted in Google Shopping ads.

This latest variation, seen by CommerceHub, features “Great price” messaging in the line below the retailer’s name. It’s shown in place of ratings stars, which appear in the other two ads from Nordstrom shown in this PLA grouping.

Google has been playing around with low price alert messaging in PLAs. In May, “Value Alert” notices were found, and just earlier this week, “Percent Off” messaging appeared in some ads.

It’s likely many other test variations will keep popping up, so keep a look out and let us know what you find.
