The SMX Master Classes are a series of online workshops taught by experts in the search marketing industry. They are all intended for marketers with at least some degree (1-2 years) of professional experience. Advanced classes may be better suited to marketers with more robust experience. All Master Classes air live and feature ample Q&A with your expert instructor.

We are offering five different classes in October 2025:

For the first time, the training for each SMX Master Class has been streamlined into one focused day of learning PER CLASS.

Each class takes place on a different day, giving you the flexibility to customize your perfect training experience and attend multiple classes live.

All classes start promptly at 11:00am ET and will go until approximately 4:45pm ET.

Yes! All Master Classes will be recorded in their entirety and available for on-demand replay so you can watch and rewatch for deeper learning — and catch up with anything you miss.

No — the $299 ticket gets you access to ONE Master Class. However, you can purchase multiple Master Classes and we encourage you to do so! You’ll unlock 15% off total registration when you buy more than one, and enjoy a comprehensive cross-training experience to boot! (Details available during registration.)

Yes! Live Q&A is a huge part of the value of attending an SMX Master Class. Your instructor will explain how Q&A will work during their class — they may take questions throughout the day or carve out specific times for Q&A. Either way, you will post your questions in the Chat tab in your Master Class room, and your instructor will answer them from there.

In most cases, yes! Be sure to check out the Dig Deeper tab to the right of the video window to download a PDF version of the presentation (if available) and any other valuable training resources your instructor may offer.

In the unlikely event that the video isn’t working, try these handy troubleshooting tips:

  • Refresh your page; this is often the simplest solution to jumpstarting a video that’s successfully working for everyone else.
  • Ensure that any popup blockers or privacy settings that could prevent a video from playing are disabled.
  • Ensure your browser of choice is up-to-date. If it’s not, install the necessary updates and refresh your page.
  • Ensure that the computer you’re on isn’t behind a company firewall or other technical obstacle that would prevent a video from playing.
  • Sessions will stream in all major browsers, but we tend to find that Chrome users have optimal experiences.
  • If none of this is working, try accessing the event from your mobile device. If you can see the video on your mobile device, there is an outstanding issue with your desktop. Repeat the steps above.

If you find a slide hard to read, we recommend you increase the screen size. To do this, you can either click the Full-Screen button on the video player or try modifying your screen zoom by clicking COMMAND and the (-) key on Mac or CTRL and the (–) key on Windows.

This may be be due to your browser’s settings (many now have features that prevent audio from auto-playing). Hover over the video window to access and adjust the volume controls. If this does not work, please check the sound preferences on your computer, including the sound output settings.

You likely have two instances of the Master Class open in your browser. Close one to eliminate the echo.

While we do not currently offer this feature, if you’re using Chrome, you can enable their caption feature. Click here to learn more about setting this up for your browser.

Yes! Attending your Master Class unlocks a personalized certificate of completion and a nifty digital badge — perfect for sharing on social after the event. Your certificate will be available on your My Master Classes page after the event.
