Microsoft taps Amazon DSP as preferred partner

Microsoft’s shift to Amazon DSP gives advertisers access to Amazon’s data-driven targeting and premium inventory as it phases out its own DSP.
The collaboration makes Google the second third-party ad partner for Pinterest, following its multi-year collaboration with Amazon.
The partnership will be a multi-quarter implementation, which will begin rolling out later in 2023.
The new collaboration allows BigCommerce merchants to reach millions of potential new customers across the Microsoft Advertising Network.

Microsoft has officially completed the acquisition of aQuantive Inc., which includes agency Avenue A | Razorfish and the Atlas ad-serving platform. The acquisition was the largest in Microsoft’s history, valued at roughly $6 billion.
