US Search Awards 2013Last night, Search Engine Land had the honor of being named Best Blog of 2013 by the US Search Awards during the first annual search awards event hosted in Las Vegas.

The ceremony was held in association with PubCon and recognized leading organizations, agencies and individuals in the search industry. With more than 22 different categories, winners were selected by a panel of 15 search experts, including Moz CEO Rand Fishkin, Bruce Clay of Bruce Clay Inc. and Bing Webmaster Tools senior product manager Duane Forrester.

The Grand Prix award was given to Catalyst Canada (on behalf of HSBC CMB USA), and Best Agency Award went to Elite SEM. President of aimClear, and Search Engine Land contributor Marty Weintraub was named US Search Personality of 2013.

Our own director of audience development Elisabeth Osmeloski and Search Engine Land contributing editor Greg Finn were on hand to accept the Best Blog award.
